Raw Materials


Currently, the main raw materials used for industrial fermentation-based alcohol production include starchy raw materials such as tubers (sweet potato, cassava, potato, etc.), grain raw materials (corn, sorghum, rice, wheat, etc.), and sugary raw materials (sugarcane, molasses waste, etc.).


II. Process Routes


2.1 Six-Tower Differential Pressure Distillation Process 1 for Premium Edible Alcohol


The process includes a crude distillation tower, a water washing tower, a rectification tower, a methanol tower, a recovery tower, and a dialdehyde removal tower. The rectification tower uses steam for steam supply. The vapor from the top of the rectification tower supplies hot water to the water washing tower and the methanol tower. The vapor from the top of the water washing tower and the methanol tower heats the crude distillation tower. The vapor from the top of the recovery tower heats the dialdehyde removal tower. The vapor from the top of the crude distillation tower and the dialdehyde removal tower preheats the mature mash.



2.2 Six-Tower Differential Pressure Distillation Process 2 for Premium Edible Alcohol


This technology optimizes the six-tower differential pressure distillation process 1 for premium edible alcohol to improve the quality of the finished product, simplify the control system, and further reduce energy and water consumption. The process unit is equipped with a crude distillation column, a crude auxiliary column, a water washing column, a rectification column, a methanol column, and a recovery column. The rectification column is supplied with steam. The alcohol vapor at the top of the rectification column is used to heat the water washing column and the methanol column. The alcohol vapor at the top of the water washing column and the methanol column is used to heat the crude distillation column. The alcohol vapor at the top of the recovery column is used to heat the crude auxiliary column. Other heat sources are used to preheat the mash feed in stages.


III. Quality Standards


Based on the owner's needs, through targeted design, the alcohol production unit can produce products that meet the special grade, superior grade, and ordinary grade standards of the "National Standard of the People's Republic of China for Edible Alcohol (GB 10343-2008)".
